Exploring the Significance of “BREXIT” for the United Kingdom’s Agricultural Sector

This report offers possible complications of ‘BREXIT,’ the United Kingdom’s decision to disassociate with the European Union, on the agricultural sector within the United Kingdom. The research method utilized was trend analysis in which various pieces of economic data are collected in order to recognize an overlying pattern or trend and formulate a forecast. The results corroborated the conclusion that ‘BREXIT’ will prove disadvantageous for the British agricultural sector although the extent of such complications will be rooted in specific negotiations between the United Kingdom and European Union and the level of separation established between the two parties. The conclusion is intended as a recommendation for policy decisions made by British leaders determining the terms of separation.
